The group of 40 guests learned to cook and later dined on a massive array of gourmet appetizers and small plates. Parties That Cook has generously donated 100% of the night's proceeds to Pets Unlimited, a local non-profit community service organization focused on the humane treatment of animals.

San Francisco, CA (February 6, 2008) – Chef Bibby Gignilliat, Founder and Executive Chef of Parties That Cook, dazzled a sold out crowd with cooking tips and tricks at Sur La Table's Union Square store. The group of 40 guests learned to cook and later dined on a massive array of gourmet appetizers and small plates. Parties That Cook has generously donated 100% of the night's proceeds to Pets Unlimited, a local non-profit community service organization focused on the humane treatment of animals.
The fundraising event was led personally by Parties That Cook's Founder, Bibby Gignilliat. Over the years, Gignilliat has adopted three pets from the Pets Unlimited Shelter, and is long time supporter of the Pets Unlimited organization.
"We received nothing less than raves and accolades from every single person in attendance. Thank you, Bibby, for using your creativity, charm, and genius to produce an event that highlighted our mission in such a magnificent way," said Nan Vinton-Zimmerman, President of the Pets Unlimited Board of Trustees.
A selection of wines provided by Parties That Cook were paired with the menu, which included savory and sweet crowd pleasers with clever event-themed names like Paws-itively Scrumptious Ahi Tuna Tartare in Sesame Won Ton Cups, Pup-ular Porcini Mushroom and Fontina Puff Pastry Tartlets, Crab Potstickers with meowth-watering Sesame-Ginger Dipping Sauce, Fetching Sweet Potato Galette Frisbees with Sage Crème Fraîche, and Bark-tastic Mexican Chocolate Fudge Brownies with Cinnamon Whipped Cream. Guests also took home goodie bags filled with cooking aprons and gifts for their four-legged friends waiting at home.
